Beachside Cafe

Breakfast at this small, family-owned and operated cafe is really popular, and if you can stand the wait, it will be well worth it. The cuisine is great, and the portions are generous. Try the Long Board Stack (three pancakes or three pieces of French toast) or the Beachside Skillet, which are both conventional breakfast favorites with a beachy twist (ham, bacon, sausage, onion, green peppers, tomatoes and hash brown grilled with cheese). Lunch can also be had at the cafe. The Beachside Cafe claims to have the largest salads in town, made entirely with fresh, in-season produce. Even the bread is freshly baked. When you're finished, take a stroll to the adjacent beach.

Villa Palma Ristorante

Filet "Peppino," named after Chef Peppe, consists of filet mignon tips and sausage in a spicy mushroom sauce. If you're still undecided, the Villa Palma Platter offers a sampling of a variety of dishes, including eggplant rolatini, calamari, mussels, grilled eggplant, shrimp, and more. These are just two of the many delectable dishes available at Indialantic's Villa Palma Ristorante, a family-owned, authentic Italian eatery. In truth, an Italian immigrant from Naples, Italy, and his son operate this restaurant (and create the dish).

Petrillo's Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria

Petrillos delivers great pizza as well as classic Italian comfort foods like spaghetti bolognese. But it has a lot more to offer, including some truly distinctive Italian versions. Shrimp, chicken, and sausage are sautéed with vegetables and served over penne pasta in this Italian stir fry. Try the breaded chicken cutlets with lemon butter and white wine sauce, or the chicken milanese. To mention a few of the delectable menu options, diners can order an Italian-style filet mignon or lightly breaded and fried jump shrimp.

Skewers Mediterranean Grille

As the name implies, this is the place to go if you want to eat skewered foods. That isn't to minimize or diminish the exquisite flavors available at this long-running Indialantic eatery. Skewers has been a local favorite for over two decades, and it elevates Mediterranean cuisine to new heights with bold and inventive tastes, high-quality and always fresh ingredients, and mouthwatering kabobs.

Islands Fish Grill

Islands Fish Grill is an upmarket yet relaxed spot for some of the best local fish on the coast, with a constantly changing specials menu. Bluepoint oysters, onion-crusted grouper, and marinara mussels are just a few of the highlights. Depending on your preference, have the fish grilled, jerked, or blackened.

Scotts on Fifth

This "five-palm" fine-dining restaurant features a wine bar, fresh seafood, signature drinks, and delectable desserts. As one might anticipate on the Space Coast, the dining area is intimate and informal. However, the meal is exquisitely prepared and fit for a king. Expect a new menu every time you visit; plates change depending on what's in season and chef Scott Earick's whim. Even the decor is subject to change. What you're looking for isn't on the menu? Inquire with Earick about his availability. Order Scott's Choice, which is "anything Scott feels like creating today," and trust your chef.
