Fisherman Landing Park

This charming 7.48-acre community river park boasts the Grant Historical House as its central feature, making it an ideal rest stop for travelers and a convenient venue for community events. Visitors can enjoy the shaded pavilion and two grills, which are conveniently located near restrooms. The park's tranquil path and boardwalk are perfect for leisurely strolls, while the fishing deck provides ample space for anglers to cast their lines. Boaters can also access the park's restrooms and picnic area from the fishing deck.

Grant Historical House Benson House

The Grant Historical House, also called the Benson House, is located on seven acres of land by the river and holds the distinction of being the first house built in the town of Grant. Its construction dates back to 1916, and the prefabricated home was shipped by boat from Jacksonville, Florida. Atley and Clara Christensen Bensen, who were among the early settlers of Grant, resided here. One of their sons donated the house to the Grant Historical Society in 1984, and it was established as a museum in 1987.

Christenson’s Landing

This 3.92-acre park in Grant-Valkaria is widely sought-after for its fishing opportunities, marine life observation points, and boating facilities that can be used to access the smaller islands within the Indian River. It boasts of several amenities, such as six boat ramps, two piers for fishing, a washroom building with non-potable water, benches that offer scenic views of the river and its wildlife, and a natural shoreline mitigation area.
